In TFA’s first lead-up to January 2024, which is when we turn 20, we held a literary event, “Words Matter”, on 8 August at Bangalore International Centre. Eminent poet and translator K. Satchidanandan and novelist Anjum Hasan travelled across the poetry landscape, covering its history, its ethical vision and its place in a democracy. Winners of the 2023 TOTO for Creative Writing, Dadapeer Jyman (Kannada) and Aparna Chivukula (English) read excerpts from their work.
